The NHS provides free treatment for anyone aged under 18, so we use this time to build positive and healthy relationships with our young patients that sets them up for a lifetime of healthy teeth and mouths. Prevention is always the way to go if you want your children to have a life free from a lot of the common dental problems that can be easily reduced.
Helping nervous children
Sneinton Boulevard Dental Practice recognises that all children are different and that a lot of young children are very nervous about dental visits. We build up trust over time by introducing new dental procedures slowly over the course of their appointments. We find that the slow approach builds their confidence, so by the time they are an adult any residual nervousness towards visiting their dentist is gone or hugely reduced.
